The Ministry of Addiction Prevention and Drug Control and the Legislative Secretariat of the ICT Management Coordination Unit have signed an agreement to ensure digital inclusion through various educational and technological measures and the responsible use of technology.
Minister Esteban Samuel López, Secretary Graciela Soledad Basualdo, the Secretaries of State for Drug Prevention and Territorial Surveillance, Roberto Padilla, for Communications and Institutional Relations, Cindy Diesel, for Administrative and Financial Coordination, Paula Devoto and for Municipal Affairs José Schiro; and members of the technical teams.
The secretariat team has already carried out various workshops in the various day care centers of the province and in the prevention centers of Posadas, as part of the “TechnoHacedores project”, in order to combine new technologies with everything that is prevention, in the Responsible and Critical Use of this tool, both in children and young people as well as parents so that they can carry out the necessary support.
Meanwhile, when signing the agreement, Undersecretary Padilla mentioned progress on the measures and took into account parents’ concerns about overconsumption, especially during the pandemic.
The minister thanked the work carried out in the homes and the preventive points with the team, “the work carried out by the professionals and it is captivating, with this different look we get the problem of problematic consumption of objects, screens In addition there is a study carried out showing that screen abuse is what concerns mothers the most.” In this sense, he thanked the coordinated immediate measures and activities.
For his part, Basualdo highlighted the articulated work and acknowledged the reality of how technology has impacted families, especially since the pandemic. Because of this, he insisted on the importance of working with children, youth and adults.
Undersecretary Diesel advanced the articulation to strengthen preventative campaigns aimed at the proper use of technology.
After signing the contract, they shared with the children who practiced soccer at the Hogar playground.
